News on Connecting Woodside

The public consultation for the initial design proposals for three Avenues in the next phase of the Avenues project is currently underway.

Designs for one of the key connections with the Connecting Woodside project, the Underline (connecting the West End to the City Centre via St Georges Place, Phoenix Road and New City Road) along with the redevelopment of the Sauchiehall Street pedestrian precinct (between Rose Street and Buchanan Street) and Cambridge Street, are currently being consulted on.

Initial design ideas for these streets are now open for consultation and can be found here .

You can let the design team know what you think of the initial designs by Sunday 9th December using this 2 minute survey . Your feedback, along with responses already gathered from local businesses and community groups, will help to inform the next stage of designs.

If you'd like to meet the design team, they will be out and about with drawings and plans 10am-5pm on Friday 16th November (St Georges Cross and New City Road) and Saturday 17th November (Sauchiehall Street near Marks & Spencer, and Cambridge Street).
